Automotive Booking Terms

The deposit paid to Global Tint Ltd confirms your appointment as outlined in the booking confirmation (via email). Deposit payments are fully refundable up until three working days* prior to the installation date, after which point any cancellation/rearrangement will result in your deposit being forfeited in full. Booking times for mobile installations are flexible (09:00 – 17:30) unless time requirements were stipulated at the time of booking, in which event details will be displayed in the booking confirmation (via email). It is your responsibility to check the booking confirmation (email) details are correct and inform Global Tint Ltd within the required time should anything need to be changed. Any return customer discounts or promotions you have access to will need to be stipulated at the time of booking so your deposit can be altered. Discounts cannot be applied after this stage.

Standard quotations will be for the rear half (b pillar backwards) of the vehicle unless specified. Front window film installations will always be done within the legal requirements. Although all installations will be within the legal specifications, we recommend you consult your insurance company, lease provider and/or company car provider to ensure you are not breaching any of their own terms.

Cancellations or amendments (other than film shade) will need to be either confirmed over the phone or emailed to yourbooking@globaltint.co.uk within the required timeframe. The film shade options can be decided/changed on the day of the installation but once installation begins this decision is final and any changes thereafter would incur the relevant charges and rescheduling if necessary. Should any of the details provided be incorrect your Global Tint installer will advise of any price alterations. If you did not wish to proceed with the work after said alterations you would forfeit the full deposit payment. In the event your Global Tint installer is unable to provide the product/service on the day as booked, your Global Tint installer will look to rearrange for the next suitable day or alternatively Global Tint Ltd will refund your full deposit payment. Installation times vary but will typically be between one and three hours. You will need to ensure the vehicle is at the agreed installation address for when your Global Tint installer arrives with the necessary access available. If the vehicle and/or access isn’t available on arrival we reserve the right to retain the full deposit. Unless previously agreed it will be expected that your windows are free from any existing window film, wind deflectors, stickers and/or internal signage and that there will be no access restrictions to the windows either internally or externally. If your Global Tint installer arrives to find any of the aforementioned, they would aim to quote a charge for the additional work required and carry out the installation. In the event you did not wish to have such work undertaken or they are unable to do said work for any reason you would forfeit the full deposit. If your Global Tint installer is to remove any pre-existing window film, wind deflectors and/or stickers/signage they will not accept liability for any unavoidable damages caused as a result of the removal. Your Global Tint installer will undertake a basic clean/prep of the relevant windows prior to installation. It will be expected that your windows will be at a reasonable level of cleanliness prior to arrival and any excessive dirt to have been removed. You accept if any excessive dirt/grime/moss build up has not been sufficiently cleaned prior to the installation that there will be a limitation to the standard of finish achievable. The installation payment is due to your Global Tint installer on completion without exception. Your Global Tint installer is not VAT registered and therefore the installation charge excludes VAT. Your Global Tint installer is fully insured and will provide you with a lifetime warranty card underwriting any defects with the product and/or installation. *working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.

Quotations are bespoke to the window specifications/measurements as provided (unless site visit was arranged) and film option as agreed prior to deposit payment. As such, it is the responsibility to ensure that all information provided is correct. Installation times vary depending on many variables such as window configuration, size, frame type, product selection etc. The information obtained prior to booking will enable a Global Tint representative to book sufficient time for the installation. Should any of the details provided be incorrect your Global Tint installer will advise of any time and/or price alterations. If you did not wish to proceed with the work after said alterations you would forfeit the full deposit payment.

You will need to ensure access is available at the agreed installation address for when your Global Tint installer arrives. If your Global Tint installer arrives to find any of the aforementioned, they would aim to quote a charge for the additional work required and carry out the installation. If your Global Tint installer is to remove any pre-existing window film and/or stickers/signage they will not accept liability for any unavoidable damages caused as a result of the removal. Your Global Tint installer will undertake a basic clean/prep of the relevant windows prior to installation. It will be expected that your windows will be at a reasonable level of cleanliness prior to arrival and any excessive dirt to have been removed. You accept, if any excessive dirt/grime/moss build up has not been sufficiently cleaned prior to the installation that there will be a limitation to the standard of finish achievable. The installation payment is due to your Global Tint installer on completion without exception. Your Global Tint installer is not VAT registered and therefore the installation charge excludes VAT. Your Global Tint installer is fully insured and will provide you with a warranty on the product as per the manufacturer/product type selected underwriting any defects with the product and/or installation.

Although all installations will be within legal specifications, we recommend you consult your landlord, letting agency, local council and/or insurance company where relevant to ensure you are not breaching any of the terms on any agreement you may have separately with them.
